Tsaranoro magnetic ... a name, an incredible place. Already long ago I wrote that next spring I'd go to Madagascar to climb, and certainly not with such big ambitions, but the news adds to my motivation. The street is called Tough Enough (tough enough) ... 400 m high with difficulty and remains constant up to 8b +.
The route was opened in 2005 by a German expedition composed by Daniel Gebel, Ari Steinel, Uschi Beer and Joachim Seitz, on the east wall of Karambony, precisely the mass Tsaranoro. At the time Daniel Gebel was unable to open the way up from the bottom and 2 / 3 of pitches up to 'A3 8b in free and aid climbing. In the following years there have been attempts to search for other strings to release one after another all the shots: among others, François Legrand, Stéphanie Bodet, Sylvain Millet, Arnaud Petit and Laurent Triay. The next challenge is to climb all the pitches in a day ... this is the order of difficulty: 7b +, 8a, 8b, 7c, 8a +, 8a +, 8b, 8b +, 8b +, 8b. You see a little 'if you go on repeating the way! It would be really cool ... even if it is the ninth ...
